Using integrated Digital Space Traffic Control (iDSTC) to prevent satellites from colliding
It has been three rewarding days for Skypuzzler, as we participated in Space for Inspiration – European Space Agency’s (ESA) Annual Conference on Commercial Space Exploration.
The conference kicked off with a networking event on Green Island, where Skypuzzler met with industry professionals and colleagues from the Danish space ecosystem. At Space for Inspiration, Operations Director Elgiz Baskaya, Flight Dynamics Engineer Maxime Olivari, and Delivery Manager Jacob Løfdahl represented Skypuzzler at ESA’s booth and communicated the value of iDSTC to all visitors.
The increase in space debris and the growing congestion of satellites in Low Earth Orbit underscore the need for advanced collision-avoidance capabilities to mitigate the risks posed by the growing number of satellites and space debris in orbit today. With its advanced deterministic algorithm, Skypuzzler addresses this issue with iDSTC, using data from ground stations to automate orbital manoeuvres in near-real time.
